Les membres du groupes porteront la marque avant et après les concerts.



Bon ça vous vous en foutez un peu, vu que ça vous concerne pas vraiment........



Par contre là où ça devient vraiment interressant c'est que le distributeur d'Innes en France pourra fournir à Flogging Molly une liste d'invités, qui assisteront donc gratuitement au concert mais seront aussi invité à une petite soirée "privée" après le show, où Flogging Molly payera la bière, vous pourrez rencontrer le groupe et si l'ambiance est bonne, après quelques verres il n'est pas rare que ça tourne en beuf acoustique !!!
De quoi passer une méchante soirée !

106-minutes de film qui retrace la vie du groupe depuis leurs débuts dans le pub de molly Malone jusqu'a leur dernier concert "sold out" au Wiltern Theater de Los Angeles.
Whiskey on a Sunday vous fera decouvrir les membres de la Flogging Molly family. De Matt Hensley à Bridget Regan mais s'attardera surtout sur le chanteur/guitariste Dave King et sa vie. De son enfance dans un Dublin en guerre, la mort prématuré de son père, son exile aux USA d'où il ne pourra pas sortir pour voir sa mère pendant 8 ans.... Tout ce qui fait la richesse de ses textes en fait.

A farewell message from our brother in arms :

Hello FM Faithful.

We are saddened to announce that Matt Hensley will no longer be touring with Flogging Molly. We fully support Matt and his decision and wish him nothing but the best in all of his future endeavors. Matt has written a letter to you, the fans, as he wanted to share his very personal reasons for his departure and to let you know how grateful he is for your years of support.


First let me say that it has been an honor to play with Flogging Molly for the last 10 years. I would have never thought that playing the accordion, an instrument that almost got me shot when I first was learning, would have led me down a road to Molly Malone's, Dave King, and an extended family called Flogging Molly. I have been blessed to be so lucky. I am writing this to tell you that I am leaving the band. This decision was not easy for me. I have an eight year old son Oliver who is becoming a little man, and the feeling that he needs his old man around is becoming too strong for me to ignore. The older my son gets the harder it is for me to leave him behind to go out on tour. Flogging Molly, as you know, is a hard working band that tours most of the year; I would never try to change that. I must follow my guts and step down. I'm departing the band but I will never leave what Flogging Molly has meant to the fans and myself. I look forward to playing on some songs when the band is in San Diego.

I would like to thank all the loyal Flogging Molly fans for the support that you have given throughout the years. It has been a privilege to play music for you. I would also like to thank all the service men and women who have supported the band, may you keep out of harms way. I would like to thank all the bands that let Flogging Molly open for them and all the bands that opened for Flogging Molly. I'd like to thank all the friends and families who have lost someone and feel a little closer to them during IF I EVER LEAVE THIS WORLD ALIVE - I know how you feel, my mom would get nearer every time I played it.

Nouvel album soon et Matt est de retour :




Flogging Molly is currently cutting tracks for their new album expected in early 2008. They spent the pre-production period and are recording in Dave King's native Ireland. The band is really excited about the new material, new album and the return of their brother in arms.

Long time accordion player and gentleman, Matt Hensley has re-joined the band after leaving in January of this year for personal reasons. Matt says of his return, "The truth is that my life makes sense again, and I feel like I'm where I need to be in this world." He also ads, "I missed the feeling of 'knowing where you're at.' Being the accordion player in this band is my zone; where I belong. I got emails all the time from people who care deeply about the band. I missed being able
to affect people in a positive way."
